stone's Ministry, who was unseated as member for Chester owing to the corrupt practices of his agent in the election, has been elected for Scarborough, jSir H. Johnston having retired in his favor. In the House of lords, the Irish Belief Bill has passed through Committee. In the House of Commons the bill has been read a second time for conferring privileges on Irish tenants for shooting hares and rabbits. AUSTEALIAN CEICKETEBS. The cricket match, Australians v. 18 of Alexandra Club, at Crew, in Cheshire was resumed to-day, the Australians continuing their innings, having lost on the day previous two wickets for 61 runs. They were all disposed of for 257 runs. Blackham was caught for 49. In the second innings of the Home team 8 wickets have been lost for 29 runs. The .attendance at the match' was only .moderate, and was drawn in favor of the 'Australians. •
