The usual weekly report of the manager is subjoined:—" Point JRussell t The extension of the creek level has been suspended, and the men are now employed in stoping, but no quartz has yet been broken down. The stuff obtained in driving on the reef proved payable. When the ICD feet level is connected with the winze, ventilation will be obtained, and we shall then posh forward the creek level again. Tunnel level: There is no change to report in Golden Age rise. The Nonpareil cross* cut will be into our own ground in a few days. $.0 feet level: In driving west No.. 1 branch leader is net looking quite so well. as lately. There is no change to report in the stopes above. this level. Driving has been resumed on the crosscut from footwall branch of No. 3 reef at Tunnel level, there being a large section of ground in this direction still unprospected. During the past fortnight we have crushed 300 tons of stuff, including ;2cwt of picked stone for the yield from which is 272 ounces retorted gold.—l am, ;&C, ROBEBT CoMEB." . :
