GREY MOUTH.
This day.
A fire occurred this morning in the premises recently occupied by T. W. Hangford, Mawhera Quay, which have been taken possession of by the Government for public works offices. Fortunately no person was on the premises at the time, and by the exertion of the Fire Brigade the fire was confined to the building in which it originated. The origin of the fire is a mystery. This is the second mysterious fire within three days.
