A fire broke out in a house in Hobson street belonging to Mr Jamei, at present occupied by Fremain and some lodgers, but was put out after a sharp struggle by the nalvage corps. Considerable carnage was done. The lodgers were uninsured. The value of the property ig unknown.
The Loch Bee takes home a trial con signment of preserved peaches.
A child two years old, a son of a man named Conne'l, was found dead Hhis morning under somewhat strange circumstances. It was in health last night, and this morning, when the mother lifted it from its cradle, it was qutte cold.
