The following are the claims drained by the Big Pump, with the number of men's ground of each:—Moanatairi, 216; Kurariui, 117 ; Caledonian, 19; Cure, 12; Red Queen, 8 ; Tookey, 7; Manukau, 3 ; Golden Crown, 7 ; Imperial Crown, 42 ; Herald, 3; Prince Imperial, 18; Waiotahi, 47; Inverness, 6; Don Pedro, 3; Crown Princess, 85; Queen of Beauty, 73 ; Golden Calf, 16. Ot the above total area 367 men's ground are situated within the Borough, and. 315 in the County. The claims with,workings at or below the water level are the following :—Kuranui, Moanatairi, Crown, Calf, Waiotahi, Caledonian, Tookey, Imperial Crown, Prince Imperial, and Cure. A meeting of the sub-committee will take place this evening, at which a report will be presented, and probably a long discusiion will; follow.
