Centenary Celebration.

SERVICE OF SONG.

In consequence of the inclemency of the weather, there was but a moderate attendance at the Academy of Music last evening, on the occasion of the Service of Song in commemoration of the centenary of the establishment of Sunday Schools. The choir consisted of 22 ladies and gen-, tleinen—M:r J. Grigg acting as conductor, while Mr Henry Meachem accompanying on the harmonium. The service consisted of a series of hymns and descriptive and connective readings, the latter being given by Messrs Benshaw and Kitchen. The proceedings were brought to a close by the singing of the National Anthem by the choir and the audience. '
