MINT.
The contract for cleaning out the Middle Star Tunnel is now completed and tenders are being called for driving 100 feet across the claim. The tunnel is up to tbe Mint boundary, along which runs the Sons of Freedom reef. On the surface the Comet reef is 70 feet from the lode, so that unless the underlie alters re.ry much, this contract should see the Comet lode at hand.
