GRAHAMSTOWN WESLEYAN CHURCH.
Yesterday morning at this place of worship Mr Thomas James, local preacher, officiated, nnd preached an interesting discourse, taking for his text ''Daniel's vision of the image of brass iron." Towards the conclusion he made special reference to the Centenary, and to Sunday School work. There was a large congregation.
■Services were also held in the Shortland Wesleyan, by Rev. R. Laishley; Congregational, by Her. W. J. Watkin. In each place of worship there were large congregations. In the afternoon special united gatherings of Sunday scholars were held—the Episcopalian, Shortland Wesleyan, Primitive Methodist, Baptist, and Congregational meeting at St. George's Church, and the Grahamstown Wesleyan, Presbyterian, Waiotahi, Tararu Wesleyan, and Tararu Presbyterian schools at the Grahamstown Wesleyan Church. The Revs. Messrs Adamson and Watkin officiated at the latter edifice.
