ST. GEORGE'S.
There was an excellent attendance of children at the afternoon service held in the abore place of worship. The her. J; Bates officiated, and made some approdriate remarks to the assembled scholars. In the morning the rev. gentleman also preached, and urged that the Sunday School was not intended to take the place of parental teaching, but to assist it. There was he said need of a school to bring all the street Arabs together and teach them to lore the name of God. The musical selections by the chior were in harmony with the day.
