CURE.
The manager recently made an inspection of the old winze from No. 1 level, and found it to be in such a bad. state that he intends to sink a new one on the lode about 10 feet from, the old working. It is anticipated, that the gold obtained will pay for the sinking, while the cost of repairing the'present.winze would be very considerable. . , .
