SOUTHERN CROSS.
The leader which caused the rise in the shares of this company yesterday was discovered while fossicking on the side of the hill near the Big Pump chimney stack. It is a nice-looking stringer about four inches thick, and shows, gold freely, several lbs additional specimens being obtained to-day.
