LITTLE SISSY.

Hearing that the proprietors of this claim — Gibbons _ and party —- propose forming it into a company, I inspected their workings from the level of the Waiotahi creek today. The extent of the claim was formerly only four men's gtouhd, but the proprietors have recently added considerably to their area, having now 20 men's ground. The Little vSissy reef is a large body of quartz, —Varying in size from seven to twenty feet in thickness, and its average value has been from seven to ten dwts per ton, which has generally given fair wages. A considerable amount of work has been done, but the shareholders think by forming a company the ground could be V. wrought to better advantage.
