. ; The contractors have now finished, and a survey having been made, it has been . ascertained that the point where the lode is intersected is about under the winze from No. r level so that driving on the lode will be unnecessary. As the light ness of the air will binder the putting up of a rise the only thing left open is the deepening of the old winze, a start at which will be made shortly. There is nothing else fresh to report in connection with the mine.
