Arrived : P. and O. Company's steam* ship Hydaspes with the inward Suez mails dated London, June 3.
It now transpires that Elder Eeilly, leader of the Harrow gang of bushrangers has a grudge against Hearne, the Magistrate and this is said to be the cause of the bailing up.
It is believed that Eeilly is insane.
