A miner who lately arrived in town from Lako Mapourika district, reports Cunningham and party, who have been prospecting a lead adjoining Zala and Cos. grouud, have struck payable gold, which will give good wages for some time. Several parties have taken up ground adjoiuing Cunningham and party, and it is said there is plenty of room for a large number of miners in the vicinity, and they say there is a prospect of the Mapourika district turning out a good goldfield.
