Authentic intelligence has been received from Constantinople that the Turkish Government is inciting the Albanians to resist the Greeks in any attempt they may make to take possession of the district in Epirus which the recent Conference at Berlin decided should be ceded to Greece for the extension of her frontier.

The cricket match Australians- v. 18 Newcastle-onTyne was resumed and concluded to-day. The Home team, being 105 behind their opponents, went in for their second innings, and making a good stand, were not disposed until their score had reached 202 runs. The Australians then requiring 96 runs to make to win the match, went in for their second inning?, but want of time prevented its completion, and when stumps were drawn, they had scored 58 runs for loss of four wickets. The match was therefore drawn, the Australians requiring 38 runs to make, and having six wickets to fall.
An action has been brought in the Court of Queen's Bench against Bradlaugh to test the legality of the permission granted him by the House of Commons to make an affirmation instead of the customary oath.
