SUDDEN DEATH.

A premature demise to >k place at tho Thames Gold fields Hospital last evening. It appears that n man named Francis James Shino, aßed 23, a native of Otahuhu, where his parents reside, was brought into the Hospital y.-sferday afternoon unconscious. He had been engaged in prospecting in Hape Creek. Drs Payne and Huxtable exerted every effort to restore the. unfortunate man to consciousness, but he succumbed at 8 o'clock p.m. No cause is as yet assigned for his death, but a post mortem examination will shortly be held. An inquest on the body will take place on Monday.
