VICTORIA.
The body of quartz cut yesterday was inspected by Mr Bayldon today,,who pronounced it to be the Yale of Avoca reef, though it has assumed a greater underlie at this level than where tut above. There is a splendid wall; and what little quartz has been seen shows first class mineral. No breaking dowi will take place till Tuesday.
