The European Conference have come to a final decision on the question which lias beeu under consideration, and has presented a collective note to the Powers notifying, the result of its deliberations for the settlement of Turkish affairs. The Conference has now closed its sittings.

The' arrivals of wool to date for th auction amount to 270,000 bales, and probably the quantity to be offered, including that left over from last auction, is 330,000 bales.

The cricket match, Australians v. 18 of Newcastle uppuTyne, was commenced today. The home team went in first, and were all out for 115 runs. The Australians then went in for their first innings, and when stumps were drawn had lost two wickets for'lol runs, Murdoch being not out for 65 runs.

. MR BEUDLAUGH
In the House of Commons last night the debate on Mr Henry Labouchere's motion, that Mr Bradlaugh be allowed to make an affirmation in lieu of being sworn, was resumed. The Radical element strongly supported the motion, but the Conservatives and a large number of Liberals opposed any special exemption being made in favour of Bradlaugh. Upon division the motion was agreed to by a majority of 54.
