M tun beneath the old oak shade
Long ago, How plea* antly.w* played Long ago,, And liet'n'd to, the ringing Of tfii> answering echoes bringing Back our voices as we shouted loud and low, When we wandered through the wildwood In the golden days of childhood Long ago. * How bright "and fair the'flowed wen >• '. Long ago, How short and gay the hours were Long ago,' Wb*n our hearts were free and Indit , I'roEj curly morn till laic at nigh*; - ,:- - For it was always suhmtev w««t*flbo, j«u 'Ti know. • ,-' - 'Xvf&£v* / , [.When we wandered thro' the wildwooSf^J^i" In.the golden days of childhood -.---' -' *■ -J v -'_ , ,: '*fe Oil!
