Prize Firing.
The members of the Scottish Battalion and Kiflo Bangers fired this morning for a number of prizes presented by various donors. The weather was very unfavorable for good shooting, and as will be seen below the scores made were not very brilliant. If the weather prows more favorable a larger number of competitors may be expected to put in an appearance this afternoon :—
Thames Scottish: Battalion. let Fi.'ze—Mrs Dey'a Cosey md Smoking Gap. 2nd Prize—A Bachelor* Prize (for (single men), consisting of a Perambulator, Cradle, find a Bride's cake.
Thames Eifle Kangebs. Ist Prize—Quarterly, competition for the Company's Belt, and two tons of Firewood. 2nd Prize—lot worth of Toilet Requisites. 3rd Prize—Set of Studs. 4th Prize—Joint of Meat.
