THE R.M.
(To the Editor of the EVEKlira Stab.)
Sib,—l was disgusted to find we bad such a man in our community when I read that petty ebullition of surplus spleen which appeared in the Advertiser this morning. I also experienced a great feeling of satisfaction at findingthat the members of the ring who formerly~trted - to-Msle_our destinies feel their dismemberment. Mr Kenrick's honest open, course has been mainly instrumental in consummating this happy state of things, and every right thinking man must hold our B.M. in the highest esteem, and if necessary defend him from the attacks of mean snarling curs erer ready to bite a good man behind his back. I hear that the Me, B. and P. confederation are secretly getting up a petition asking for Mr Kenrick's removal, but now that the secret strength of the ring, the " discretionary power," has been taken away, I do not think they will get many to have a hand in it.—l am, &c., Juxius.
