Melbouhne, This day.
In the Legislative Assembly last night a Bill providing for the payment of members was read a second time on a division of 38 to 24. The measure provides that the payment of members shall not be limited to one session. Melboubne, Monday. John Muller, a Swiss, who recently
arrived from New Zealand, committed suicide a day or two ago in the Melbourne Cemetery. The body was discovered today, and was found to have been gnawed by rats.
The barque Bottoe Basi from Tchalalap with a cargo of 350 tons sugar for this port, and which stranded in Western Australia, has been totally lost.
