AUCKLAND.
This day.
The so-called Eev. Mr Atterbury alais Commack, was again brought at the Police Court this morning. He applied for a remand, saying he had been so paralysed by the charges brought against him as to be unable to act until now. The indictment was for imposing on two persons with a view to obtain money representing himself as a single man though married, and larceny as a bailee. The police opposed the remand, but it was eventually granted. The court was crowded to excess. Arrived: The Rover from Samoa.
