THIS DAY.

(Before H. Zenriok, Esq., E.M.)

William Sutton was charged with committing a breach of the bye-law, by allowing his chimney in Richmond street to be on fire, on the 28th ult.

Mrs Sutton, who appeared for her husband, pleaded guilty, but said that she only had been in the house about five weeks, and was not aware the chimney was dirty. The case was dismissed.
