Earl Russell communicated to the College of Physicians and J. T Davenport that he had received information to the effect that the only remedy of an; service in Cholera was Chlorodyne.—See Lancet, Dec. 31,1864. From A. Montgomery, Esq., late Inspector of Hospitals, Bombay:—" Chlorodyne is i most valuable remedy in Neuralgia, Asthma, and Dysentery. To it I fairly owe m; restoration to health, after 18 months' severe Buffering, and when other remedies ha< failed." Dr. Lowe, Medical Missionary in India, reports (Dec. 1865) that in nearly every case o Cholera in which Dr. J. Collis Browne's Chlerodyne was administered the patien recovered. Extract from tbe General Board of Health, London, as to its efficacy in Cholera:—" S strongly are we convinced of the immense value of this remedy that we cannot too forcibl; urge the necessity of adopting it in all cases."
