County Tenders.
The following tenders were this morning opened at the County Council offices for the following works, &c. As will be seen from the amounts, the tenders are very close. Indeed we are informed that they were the closest ever received by the Council. The lowest in each case has been accepted:— KATIKATI ROAD. Section No. 2 and 3.—C. Nash £150 4s, D. Henley £152 19s, A. Butler £154. 10s, H. Butler £165. Section No. 4—A. Butler £55 (£ll3s per chain corduroy), C. Nash £55 (£ll7s ditto). Sheehan £59 10s (£1 19s ditto), Henley £68 17s 6d (£2 5s ditto). Section No. s.—Henley £105 19s, I Butler £110, Hart £115 10s, domes' £116, Kalpb, £116. Carting to Paeroa.—Bryson 3s 9d per cubic yard, Murphy 5a lid ditto. Snodgrass' Outfall.—Snodgrass £18,
and 18s per 100 timbers, Dodd £17 and 21si Gd ditto, Martin £35 and 16a ditto. Lavery's Outfall and Drain.— Dougherty £4 and 10s per chain drain. Martin £6 and 19s 6d ditto, O'Neill £9 2s Gd and 31s 6d ditto, Snodgrass £8 16s and 36s ditto, Dodd 23s 6d ditto.
