Breaking down took place this morning in the lode and 3Olbs of specimens were obtained. The footwall of the lode, which is two feet thick, has been reached. The show is quite as good as erer. There is still a considerable quantity pf stone to . break from the face, and a shot was to be fired this afternoon at four o'clock. Nothing fresh in any other part of the mine. The manager's telegram to Auckland was as follows:—" Just broke down I reef; two feet thick. Got 301bs spedmens." , GOLD BETUENS. Messenger. — Brown rid party's crushing yielded 11-|ozs gold.
