Messrs Hamlin and Harris addressed their constituents at Pukekohe last night, and received a vote of confidence.
The Railway Commissioners held a formal sitting to-day. la reply to Hamlin and Harris urging the construction of a branch" line of railway to Pukekohe and Waiuku, the deputation promised to visit the Waikato, and receive the deputation, there.
A grand volunteer review will be held on the Queen's Birthflay. Several country corps have promised to be present. It will i>e preliminary to the grand review to take place on the Prince of Wales' Birthday, when corps from the Thames, Waikato, Whangarei, and other parts will bo present.
