Two candidates have announced themselves for the representation of Waitaki in the House of Mr Duncan Sutherland and Mr W. H. lioberts, of Oamatu. It is uncertain whether Mr Eeid will stand. Mr Roberts is only a recent arrival in the Oamaru district. Mr Sutherland has been resident for twelve years.
