'".-.'■ Napiek, This day. THE MUHIMOTU DIFFICULTY SETTLED.
'i he.Murimotu difficulty has bfcen settled. The following letter was received from chief Hiiikate Kongo :—-" Salutations. This is to let you kubw that the Murimotu dispute between me and Kemp is settled and dead. I have sent a letter tv l{euata telling him that there is no necessity for him and his lawyer (Dr Eulicr) to come up." Kemp has gone biick to Wanganui. Bul'or returns to Napier to-night. The difficulty appears to have been settled without Buller's assistance in any way.
