The election for north and east Lancashire took place to-day, k and resulted in the return of two Liberals Lord Hartington and Mr Grai'ton, in place of two Conservatives who represented the constituency in the last Parliament.
London, April 10.
The Observer states that the Marquis of Salisbury, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs is about to be made a duke.
