This day
A five-roomed wooden house, owned by John Adams was destroyed by fire. Mr and Mrs Adams were out, and only the servant girl on the premises. She cannot give any intelligent account of the origin of the fire. The insurance on the house was in the Northern £250, and furniture £300 in the same office.
