Access will be available shortly by means of a bridle road now in course of construction by the Government. The quality of the soil is everywhere excellent, a good deal of it being limestone. Most of the seotions are covered with bush, and are a good deal broken; but some undulating lands, suitable for the plough, are found here and there. Norn—• Tbosa Seotions for which more than one application has been received on the 13th April, will be decided by auction at the Crown Landa Offioe, Auckland, at noon on the following day. Deposit of l-20th of the price ,of the land "to be tendered with application. Payments—Twenty equal instalments, payable one eaoh on Ist January and Ist July of eaoh year for 10 years. Improvements—Selector must bring into cultivation not lobs than one-twentieth of area the first year, one-tenth the second year, and within six years must have cultivated onefifth, and effected permanent improvements to the value of £1 for every acre. The selector haa the option at any time after the first three years, of discharging all his obligations by paying up the balance of the purchase money in oue payment,provided be has effected the improvements.
