Educational THE THAMES BOYS AND GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL. Headmaster: James Adams, 8.A., Member of the Convocation of the London University. Lady Teacher: Miss Fannt Chittt, late Eesident Governess Alexandra College, Victoria. THE object of this School in to furnish an EDUCATION of the HIGHEST ORDER for Young People of both sexes. The course of instruction will include English, Mathematics, Classics (ancient and modern), and Soience; and pupils will be prepared for examinations in the Civil Service, the Law, and the University. Special attention will be given to inttrustion in Chemistry and Physics, and every pupil will receive a sound English Education. The Class Rooms for Boys, and the Class Rooms . for Girls are in separate buildings on each side of the headmaster's house, and will be furnished with all the apparatus necessary for elucidating every branch of study. It is contemplated v establishing a.limited number of Free Scholarships. The school hours for boys are from 9 a.m. Nto 12 noon, acd from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. The school hours for girls are from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 a.m., and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. TERMS—Per annum, payable quarterly, in in advance: — On* Scholar £8 8 0 Two Scholars 14 14 0 Three Scholars 18 18 0 Additional scholars belonging to the same .parents by arrangement. In a futare advertisement notice will be given of the hours parents can see the Headmaster before the school opens. Parents and Guardians are requested to communicate, as early as possible with the Chairman or Secretary, stating the number of children/their sexes, and respective ages, they propose to send.
