The Supreme Court was opened to-day by Justice Richmond, who in charging the Grand Jury, regretted the heaviness of the calender, in which twenty-six persons were on trial, excluding five Datives, charged with misdemeanour.
Yesterday.
Pedestrian Feat.
Scott accomplished the feat of walking 112 miles in 24 hours, with eight minutes to spare. The last mile was done in 8| minutes. Scott did not appear distressed. The theatre was crowded. There was tremendous enthusiasm at the finish. The platform was rushed.
