A special meeting of the Borough Council is called, for Monday morning for the purpose, we understand, of considering the Water Supply Question. An interview has taken place between His Worship the Mayor, the County Chairman, Councillor Brown, and Mr Aitken, when preliminaries were arranged, but we are unable to give the details, His Worship enjoining secrecy. We understand the terms offered by the County recommended by us in our late article have been accepted by His Worship, and a deed to that effect ia being drafted. We trust therefore the Council will endorse the action of the Mayor at the meeting on Monday morning. .
