Educational THE THAMES j BOYS AND GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL. Headmaster: James Adams, 8.A., Member of the Convocation of the London University. Lady Teacher: Miss Fanny Chitty, late Resident Governess Alexandra College, Victoria. THE object of thi» School is to furnish an EDUCATION of the HIGHEST ORDER for Young People of both sexes. The course of instruction will include English, Mathematics, Classics (anoient and modern), and Science ; and pupils will be prepared for examinations in the Civil Service, the Law, and the University. Special attention will be given to instruction in Chemistry and Phjsics, and every pupil will receive a Eoun'd English Education. The Clbbb Rooms for Boys, and the Class Booms for Girls are in separate buildings on each side of the headmaster's house, and will be furnished with all the apparatus necessary for elucidating every branch of study. It is contemplated establishing a limited number of Free Scholarships. The Bchool hours for boys are from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, acd from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. ■ ■ The school hours for girls are from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 a.m., and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. TERMS—Per annum, payable quarterly in in advance:— One Scholar ... ... £8 8 0 Two Scholars ... ... 14 14 0 Three Scholars 18 18 0 Additional scholars belongings to the same parents by arrangement. In a future advertisement notice will be given of the hours parents can see the Headmaster before the school opens. Parents and Guardians arc requested to communicate as early as possible with the Chairman or Secretary, stating the number of children, their sexes, and reogjtotive ages, they propose to send.
