The third annual convention of the Thames Sunday School Union was held in the Presbyterian Church yesterday, the President of the Union, Mr John Hudson occupying the chair, papers were read by Messrs Wilkes, Nodder, Driver, and Renshaw. After an address by the Rev. T. L. Davies the meeting broke np. In the evening a soiree was held in the Shortland Wesleyan School-room. Mr John Hudson in the chair. Papers' were read by the Rev. R. Laishley and S. J. Neiil, and addresses delivered by the Revs. T. L. Daviea and J. Watkin. A vote of thanks to the speakers concluded the proceedings. " '
