BATTERIES.
The Kuranui battery is still crushing for the company's tributers. The contractors for re-constructing the Prince Alfred mill and making the tramway from the Moanatairi tram to the battery are making first rate progress, and. under < their hands the old shed-like building is being turned into a very respectable* looking battery. Several berdans hare been added, and also two new stamper' boxes. The Albania company art - evidently determined to make- their battery complete in every particular. !
