Educational THE THAMES BOYS AND GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL. Headmaster: James Adams, B;A., Member of the Convocation of the London University. Lady Teacher: Miss Fanny Chittt, late Resident Governess Alexandra College, Victoria. THE object Nof thi« School is to furnish an EDUCATION of the HIGHEST OEDER for Young People of both sexes. The course of instruction will include English, Mathematics, Classics (ancient and modern), and Science ; and pupils will be prepared for examinations in the Giyil Service, the Law, and the University. Special attention will be given to instruitibn in Chemistry and Pbysicß, and every pupil will receive a Bound English Education. The Class Rooms for Boys, and the Class Rooms for Girls are in separate buildings on each side of the headmaster's houße, and will be furnished with all the. apparatus necessary for elucidating every branch of study. It is contemplated establishing a limited number of Free Scholarships. The school hours for boys are from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. The school hours for girls are from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 a.m., and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. TERMS—Per annum, payable quarterly in in advance: — One Scholar £8 8 0 Two Scholars 14 14 0 Three Scholars 18 18 0 Additional scholars belonging to the same parents by arrangement. In a future advertisement notice will be given of the hours parents can see the Head* master before the school opens. Parents and Guardians are requested to communicate as early as possible with the Chairman or Secretary, stating the number of children, their sexes, and respective ages, they propose to send.
