Educational THE THAMES BOYS AND GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL. Headmaster : James Adams, 8.A., Member of the Convocation of the London University. Lady Teacher: Miss Fanny Chitty, late Resident Governess Alexandra College, Victoria. rnHE object of this' School is to famish X an EDUCATION of the HIGHEST ORDER for Young People of both sexes. ' The course of instruction will include English, Mathematics, Classics (ancient and modern), and Science; and pupils will be, prepared for examinations in the Civil Service, the Law, and the University, Special attention will be given to instruction in Chemistry and Physics, and every pupil will receive a sound English Education. The Class Rooms for Boys, and the Class Rooms lor Girls are in separate buildings on each side of the headmaster's house, and will be furnished with all the apparatus necessary for elucidating every branch of study. It is contemplated establishing a limited number of Free Scholarships. The school hours for boys are from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. The school hours for girls are from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 a.m., and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. TERMS—Per annum, payable quarterly in in advance :■— One Scholar ... .... £8 8 0 . ' In a future advertisement will" be given of the hours parents can see the Head* master before the school opens; Parents and Guardians are requested 'to communicate as early as possible with the Chairman or Secretary, stating the number of children, their sexes, and respective ages, they propose to send. ; The school dutiet commence on MONDAY, April 5.
