The case of criminal libel against Ivess is still proceeding. He has announced seven more witnesses, but the R.M. refused any further simply corroborative evidence and stated that a distinct prima facia case for committal exists unless new evidence throws fresh light on the subject. The* case is not likely to end before a late hour. .
