Messrs Sheehan and Brodie had an interview this morning with the Hon. Mr Hall, and a deputation of the Mayor and Mr Brodie will wait on the Premier at 2 o'clock.

Mr Brodie will agree to the matter of the Water Supply with respect to the agreement made by Mr MoCullough that all engagements of the Domestic Supply at the time of the signing of the agreement will be secured to the Borough. Two tenders have been accepted for the drainage of the Te Aroha Block—the land included is a portion of that offered I on deferred payments. i The High School Endowment has been marked off—so the Chief Surveyor informed Mr McCullough to-day. All the Thames men in Auckland are going in the train to meet the representatives. Mr Sheehan visits the, Thames in ten days. Arrival of the Representatives iii Auckland.

Carbine-Champion Thomas and the rest of the Thames representatives arrived in Auckland.at noon today. They were welcomed at the station by about 25 Auckland Volunteers.

Mr Sheehan, the Mayor,. Messrs McCullough, Brodie and Porter accompanied the champion to the drill-shed, where cheers were given for Thomas, Capt. Wildman and Major Withers.
