BLENHEIM.
This day.
A New Goldneld. Gold has been discovered in the Upper Wairpa valley, about 40 miles from Blenheim. Some 40 miners are at work, making from 15s to 20s per day. Any rush is, however, deprecated, as experts consider that with the first heavy rain the diggings will be flooded, and present works carried away.
