ALBURNIA.
Ten head of stampers are going on company's stuff at the Herald mill. The hanging wall quartz in the drire west at the bottom lerelis still terf barren,- but a little mineral is showing, and: some gold may yet be obtained before the boundary is reached. The manager thinks that the Devon run can be obtained ju^thigylerel by driving east, and a contract for putting in 60 feet has been Jet. Most of the main runs of the locality dip seaward, so that if the run extends to any depth at all the Alburnia is sure to get a good slice of it. It may be mentioned that the eastern drire at the 70 feet leVeT has been driren to within a few feet of the DeVbn boundary with a promising appearance for gold.
