Sacrilegious Burglary.
Information has been given to the police of the burglary from the Shortland Wesleyan Church of the Communion service
belonging to that body, and which yesterday afternoon was missing, but as both the Grahamstown aud Shortland congregations used the articles it was thought they had been taken for use at Grahamstown. Enquiries- were made however, but no one appearing to know where they were, the police were informed. The church must have been entered between Tuesday aud yesterday afternoon. The stolen service comprised three goblets ond two plates, and was valued at £42.
