Serious Accident.

At about 7 o'clock this morning a serious accident happened to a man named John Tooher, employed on O'Brien and Cos. contract. He And his mates were working on the Queen of Beauty hill, clearing the pass, when a large mail of earth fell from the face, and a portion of it struck the unfortunate man, breaking his shoulder blade, and inflicting other injuries to the chest,.the extent of which have not been ascertained. He was at once conveyed to the Hospital where his hurts were attended to. At the time of the visit of our reporter to the Hospital, Tooher appeared to be suffering ex? tremely.
