:, A match took, place at Paraw^i Gardens on Saturday between teams selected from the Borough and County. Unfortunately a number of players did not roll-up, arid the game had to be' proceeded-with, stfveraV Bhort on each side.' • The, teams weie captained-by Mr Lawless for the Borough and Mr George Spencer for ,the Gofunty. The ' former won the toss, and welnttto the wickets with Buttle,J;o the bowling of the County captain and Turner. The only noticable score of the innings was that of Gellion. The innings closed for 76. For the County, Murphy made the top score —viz., 22, but with the exception of Spencer's, the- scores, of the rest "were all small singles, the innings terminating for 58 runs.
