NEW SUNBEAM.

Mr E. Thomas one of our pioneers, who has just returned to this district, after several years' absence, baa taken up the ground once occupied by the Sunbeam, Queen of tbe Isles, Silver Crown, and Windfall claims, and a company is about to be formed to work it and a favorable offer has been made of Messrs Brown and Campbell's battery. Should the new company purchase the battery, the large quantities of quartz in th* ground can be crushed at so small a .cost that 6dwis to the ton will pay dividends. Mr Thomas has secured the right to a tunnel 800 feet in length, which with extension will open up a large block of ground. We wish the new venture every success. ,
